After a successful run as a Stand UP Comedian and TV Actress, Ann opened The Actors Garage in Manhasset, where the school has been since 2004.

Ann has taken everything she learned working with the top casting directors, directors and teachers, put it all together to create an a safe place for young actors to grow. Ann has a close relationship with the Industry that is always looking for new talent.

Leila Bradley
Director of Choreography

Leila Bradley is a dancer, actress, model, writer and educator born and raised in New York. She holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Postgraduate Dance degree from Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance in London. 

She has appeared as a dancer in Disneys live action film “Aladdin”, in numerous music videos and commercials and was a dancer for many sports teams including the NBA Nets basketball team. 

Leila’s training began at a dance studio in Queens, NY and she then went on to train at Broadway Dance Center, Boston Ballet and Ballet Hispánico. She is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop. As a dance educator she has taught in various dance studios, been Program Director for American Dance Training Camps and was a ballroom dance teaching artist in public schools across the 5 boroughs for the “Dancing Classrooms” program. She is also a multi competition award winning choreographer.

Teacher - Sharing The Spotlight

Tess is what is known as a Triple Threat! She can act, dance and sing! She was the lead in the Disney+ Hit Diary of a Future President. Tess has been part of The Actors Garage studio since she was 8 years old, and we are thrilled to have her teaching classes in her not for profit, Sharing The Spotlight.

Abigail Dempsey
Assistant Teacher Volunteer-Dance Captain

Abigail, a Sophomore at Manhasset High School has been a part of The Actors Garage since she was in 3rd Grade. Initially as student. Beginning in 8th grade, knowing how much Actors Garage helped her, in between, Field Hockey, Volleyball and Surfing, you can find her volunteering with our classes, where she is both a. student and teacher favorite!

Huckelberry Milner
Assistant Teacher Volunteer

Huckelberry may not look familiar, but you’d recognize his voice as DASH from The Incredible! Since then, Huck has stayed active in the business He began taking classes in 6th grade when he moved to Long island with his family. In 8th grade he began volunteering where in Improv and our Sunday Special Needs class; Sharing The Spotlight He’s a great guy and we’re happy to have him.

ps- no one has ever seen him in the same place at BATMAN..coincidence…we think not ;)

Jackson Daly
Assistant Teacher Volunteer- Sharing The Spotlight

Jackson is a freshman at Manhasset High School. He is actively involved in the Manhasset Broadcasting Club, both in front of and behind the camera. Outside of school, he has been a correspondent for NBC’s Nightly News: Kids Edition since 2020. He enjoys volunteering his time at The Actors Garage on the weekends.

Mikaila is a vocal coach, singer, actor, and future teacher based out of Long Island. Mikaila attended SUNY Fredonia and pursued a BFA in Musical Theater. Although she loves theater, singing, and acting, she decided to focus more on the study of voice and communication. She holds an associates degree in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College and is currently attending Queens College to become a Speech Pathologist. Using her knowledge of musical theater and the voice in general she is able to use speech pathology to aid in her voice lessons.

Some of her credits include “Cinderella” in Into the Woods, “Dorothy” in The Wizard of Oz, as well as “Fantine” in Les Miserables. When Mikaila attended high school she participated in NYSSMA All-State in 2019 where she was the first to represent Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Rochester and sang in the Mixed Chorus. This past summer she was in a musical revue and aided (as well as performed) in musical direction of the elementary age and middle school age children. Currently she is a substitute paraprofessional in the New York City Department of Education where she assists children in classroom activities and facilitates safe environments for the children to grow through their learning and social activities during school hours.

Mikaila is so excited to be working with all of the children in The Actor’s Garage! She is so incredibly happy to be able to enrich the children’s lives with music and singing. Mikaila hopes to give the kids a long lasting love and appreciation for music.
